HN Polyimide Film

 

Description:

HN Polyimide Film (e.g Kapton® HN, APICAL® Type AV, LIREN® HN film) is a general-purpose film, synthesized by polymerizing an aromatic dianhydride and an aromatic diamine. It has excellent balance of electrical, mechanical, physical, thermal, and chemical properties over a wide range of temperatures from -269¡ãC to 400¡ãC (-452¡ãF to 752¡ãF). It also has good dimensional stability, radiation resistance, and flame resistance. It does not melt or burn as it has the highest UL-94 flammability rating: V-0. The UL file No of LIREN® HN film is E318791.

Application:

HN Polyimide Film can be metallized, punched, formed, laminated, or adhesive coated. It can be used in a variety of electrical and electronic insulation applications: motor slot liners, magnet wire insulation, formed coil insulation, transformer and capacitor insulation, wire and cable tapes, substrates for flexible printed circuits (FPC), bar code label, magnetic and pressure-sensitive tapes, and insulation tubing.
