FCR Corona Resistant Polyimide FEP Film

 

Description:                  

FCR Corona Resistant Polyimide FEP Film (e.g Kapton® FCR, LIREN® FCR Film) is a heat bondable corona resistant film, constructed of Corona Resistant Polyimide Film coated with FEP fluoropolymer adhesive on one side (FCR) or both sides (FCRF). The UL File No of LIREN® FCR film is E318791.

FCR Corona Resistant Film not only combines the excellent electrical, thermal, and chemical properties of Polyimide Film and FEP resin, but also has superior corona resistance, heat sealing effect and thermal conductivity. It withstands the damaging effects of corona discharge, enhances service life and operational efficiencies of conventional electrical insulation materials.

Application:

FCR Corona Resistant Polyimide FEP Film can be melted and formed soon as desired at defined temperature. It is widely used as electrical insulation materials where there is a need for enhanced insulation life under partial discharge environments in rail traction, industrial motors and generators, transformer, magnet wire, coils and so on.

 Shelf Life: To obtain best performance, use this product within 12 months from date of delivery and store under normal   

         conditions of 60º to 80ºF (16º to 27ºC) and 40 to 60% R.H. in the original carton.
