ESD Kapton® Polyimide Tape

Description:

ESD Polyimide Tape is also known as ESD Kapton® tape, consists of low static polyimide film coated with silicone adhesive to withstand temperature up to 260°C (500°F), packaged in a 36 yard (33m) roll.

This tape generates extremely low levels of triboelectric charge when it is unwound from the roll and also when removed from most surfaces on which it is placed. This makes the tape an excellent choice for use near electronic components and assemblies.

Application:

Anti-static Polyimide Tape is the optimal product for electrostatic dissipation. This tape can be used for wave soldering, masking of printed circuit boards during conformal coating, gold leads and other components on boards filled with sensitive integrated circuits.

Shelf Life: To obtain best performance, use this product within 12 months from date of delivery and store under normal

           conditions of 60º to 80ºF (16º to 27ºC) and 40 to 60% R.H. in the original carton.
