Description:

Glass Cloth Electrical Tape with Silicone (e.g. 3M Scotch® 69, Isotape ® 4638PV3, LIREN® LR-GS69) is made of high quality glass cloth coated with heat resistant silicone adhesive.

69 Glass Cloth Electrical Tape provides high mechanical strength, resistance to high temperature, good initial adhesion, and has excellent electrical properties. This tape is recognized for continuous usage up to 200¡ãC.

Application:

69 Glass Cloth Electrical Tape with silicone adhesive can be used as:

   • electrical insulation for motor, transformer, coil, wire, and cable

   • reinforcing insulation in electrical installations where heavy loads cause high heat and breakdown of original insulation

    (e.g. motor control exciter feeds)

   • securing high temperature, non-PSA insulations (such as asbestos and glass) in high temperature areas

   •high temperature masking operations for powder coating

   • splicing materials with rough surfaces or poor internal strength such as roofing felt, fiberglass or textiles

Shelf Life: To obtain best performance, use this product within 12 months from date of delivery and store under normal          

       conditions of 60º to 80ºF (16º to 27ºC) and 40 to 60% R.H. in the original carton.
