NKN & NHN  Nomex® Kapton® Nomex® Laminate

 Description:

NKN Nomex®-Polyimide-Nomex® Laminates (equivalent to Myoflex® 2NK25, 2NK50, 2NK75; ISONOM® 0885, 0886, 0887, 2279; TRIVOLTHERM® NKN) is a three-ply flexible laminates consisting of polyimide film covered on both sides with DuPont Nomex®® paper.

NKN is also known as NHN, exhibits good electrical strength, excellent thermal resistance as well as high mechanical properties at elevated operating temperatures. It has a smooth surface which allows a trouble-free manufacture of low voltage motors where coil inserting machines are used.

Application:

NHN is mainly used as a slot liner, slot closure, phase-to phase and turn-to-turn insulation in low or medium voltage electrical motors of Class H up to Class R (180℃ to 220℃) insulation system. In addition, it is also used as interlayer insulation in transformers and other electrical machines and appliances.

Polyimide Film Thickness: 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 175μm
