NK  Nomex® / Kapton®  Flexible Laminates

Description:

NK Nomex® Paper / Polyimide Film Flexible Laminates (equivalent to Myoflex® 1NK25£¬1NK50; ISONOM® NH) is a two-ply flexible laminate consisting of Polyimide film covered on one side with DuPont Nomex® paper. NK is also called as NH.

NK Nomex® Kapton® Laminates exhibits good electrical strength, excellent thermal resistance as well as high mechanical properties at elevated operating temperatures. It has a smooth surface which allows a trouble free manufacture of low voltage motors where coil inserting machines are used.

Application:

NK Nomex® Polyimide Laminates is mainly used as a slot liner, slot closure, phase and turn-to-turn insulation in low or medium voltage electrical motors of Class N (200¡æ). Besides it is also used as interlayer insulation in transformers and other electrical machines and appliances.  

Technical Data:

Nomex® Thickness: 2mil(50¦Ìm), 3mil(80¦Ìm),5mil(130¦Ìm), 7mil(180¦Ìm).

Polyimide Film Thickness: 30, 50, 75, 100, 125, 175¦Ìm

Rolls: 3 inch (76mm) Core, max. width 914mm;
