NM Nomex® / Polyester Flexible Laminates

Description:

NM Nomex® / Polyester Flexible Laminates (equivalent to Myoflex® 1N50, 1N80; ISONOM® NM 0880, NM 8 0882; DyTERM N2S, N3S) is a two-ply flexible laminate consisting of PET film covered on one side with DuPont Nomex® paper.

NM shows high thermal resistance, excellent mechanical properties like high tensile strength and high edge tear resistance, and electrical properties. It was designed for automatic insertion machine.

Application:

NM is mainly used as a slot liner, slot closure, phase and turn-to-turn insulation in low or medium voltage electrical motors of class F. Besides it is also used as interlayer insulation in transformers and other electrical machines and appliances.
