Nomex® Aramid Paper Prepreg
Description:
LR-PT410 Nomex® Aramid Paper Prepreg is a flexible electrical insulation material consisting of Nomex® aramid paper (e.g. Nomex® T410) impregnated on both sides with a heat resistant epoxy resin in B-stage.
This Prepreg has excellent physical, electrical and thermal properties. It has no effervescence when baked. It can be cured at medium temperature, forming a stable insulation structure with low shrinkage and good heat-resistance of class H. It can then stick tightly to metal surface and mix with most adhesives, resins and paints.
Application:
LR-PT410 Nomex® Paper Pre-impregnated Materials is used as interlayer insulation between the layers of copper or aluminium foil in dry type transformers of insulation class H, and as liner insulation in electrical motor.
