KNK exhibits very good electrical strength, high thermal resistance as well as excellent mechanical properties at elevated operating temperatures. It has a smooth surface which allows a trouble free manufacture of low voltage motors where coil inserting machines are used. KNK is mainly used as a slot liner, slot closure, interturn and phase insulation in electrical motors. Besides KNK is also used as interlayer insulation in transformers and other electrical machines and appliances. NKN  Nomex ® Kapton ® Nomex  Flexible Laminates NKN Nomex ®-Polyimide-Nomex ® Laminates(equivalent to Myoflex® 2NK25, 2NK50, 2N75; ISONOM® 0885, 0886, 0887, 2279) is a three-ply flexible laminate consisting of Polyimide film covered on both sides with DuPont Nomex ® paper. NKN is also known as NHN. Nomex ® Thickness: 2mil(50¦Ìm), 3mil(80¦Ìm),5mil(130¦Ìm), 7mil(180¦Ìm). NMN  Nomex ® Mylar ® Nomex  Flexible Laminates NMN Nomex ®-Mylar ®-Nomex ® Laminates(equivalent to Myoflex® 2N50, 2N80, 2N130; ISONOM®0881, 0883, 0967) is a three-ply flexible laminate consisting of PET film, covered on both sides with DuPont Nomex ® paper. Nomex ® Paper Thickness: 2 mil (50¦Ìm), 3 mil (80¦Ìm), 5mil (130¦Ìm). PET Film Thickness: 25, 50, 75,100,125,190, 250, 300, 350¦Ìm. NMN shows high thermal resistance, excellent mechanical properties like high tensile strength and high edge tear resistance, and electrical properties. It was designed for automatic insertion machine. NMN is mainly used as a slot liner, slot closure, phase and turn-to-turn insulation in low voltage electrical motors.
